Eternity’s first Korean digital single is “Only Human” (release date 2009-07-21). Apparently, Jade and GEO are still with Sony in Korea, both Korean shops Melon and MNet list the digital single as a Sony release, yet there’s no further information about Eternity on the label’s website. Imo unexpected choice for the first album promoting song.

11.08.2009. - The release date of the Korean version of Eternity album will be released on August 20th (might take up to 27th). It will feature a new version of Only Human, a cover of the Korean song "My Style"(originally by "Brown Eyed Girls“) and the brand new track "What You Want"! The Taiwan and Hong Kong releases might follow later on.

So they called themselves there just ETERNITY? Where did infinity gone... lol Oh and here we go again with these type of covers. We will probably get almost the same cover for Korean version of the album, like was for Japanese.
An unexpected choice indeed. I was sure it will be I Will or Vanity. Maybe Only Human might become another Don't Push Me there? Huh I wonder but it's more dance/trance than dance/pop IMO. Even though it's one of my most favorite songs from the album.

Sony BMG Korean site doesn't document the digital releases, only the physical (you just have to look under jade Valerie to see that one)

As for the single choice, doesn't Korea prefer the more upbeat dancey tracks?

Yeah, looking on how BIG were Don't Push Me & Addicted in Korea Only Human might become another BIG HIT there. At least I hope it will... Then Next single will be probably I Will or maybe new exclusive song for Korea?
I hope there will be some Geo's Remixes on next single.

Yes, but there’s no artist profile yet on their site. Unfortunately I can’t recall how long it took until they added Jade Valerie as an artist.

Yes, Koreans are more upbeat oriented when it comes to Jade. But Life is Cool worked there too and Wonderful World goes into that direction, I Will is what I consider more upbeat too so I thougt more about those. But I’m sure they considered their first single well.

I wonder will there be any new collaborations? Crush collabo was cool (pity there wasn't MV for it) but YDKM was... please next... I highly doubt as no one of them didn't helped at all.

Thanks for the info!! The cover is definitely better imo but then again the Korean version covers were almost always better imo.

The single choice is interesting & surprising, but then again like everyone has said Korean fans have always preferred her more upbeat songs. Kinda ironic because I just listened to Only Human in my car!

As for Sony BMG's site, as far as I remember, Jade wasn't added until right around the album release, so like Vhari said, they probably won't be added until the album comes out.

As for collaborations, I think that they could work. The reason why I think that the You Don't Know Me collaboration wasn't too helpful was either 1) fans just bought the single rather than the album 2) fans bought Kim Dong Wan's album instead (which also has YDKM on it). But I ultimately believe that OOTB could've sold much more in Korea had there been real promotion for it. It's a pity because I think that Jade has a better chance cracking Korea again than Japan.

Interesting, thanks Anja. I think that Only Human is a logical choice, the song contains a very famous classical piece and is combined with electro-pop which is currently very popular.

Agree here. This time only miracle or promo will help them. However miracle didn't happened with OOTB album, so I believe it's all 'bout promo. But looks like they won't do much... That's pity if they won't do anything 'bout it, then album will do like in Japan which was far from bad, but far from good either.
I'll cross my fingers for her to perform any of songs in Korea. *please!!*

Btw can we see somehow see how good song is doing on charts? Or there is no charts for Online Singles?

Vhazz: No, I know what you mean, I don't mean their releases, just that they say somewhere that this artist belongs to them. But I guess John is right and they added Jade solo very late too.

errr...Only Human is my least favorite song. I would have loved them to go with I Will... I could so imagine a PV for that.
