I hope there's a new album on the horizon. I really like the sound of Around. All three songs are up on YouTube in full for those that haven't seen already

I asked Jade what her upcoming plans were for music & she said that she wants to start making another album again, but nothing other than that. At least we know that she's still writing songs for herself, & fantastic ones at that!

She also said that she might perform more shows in the near future, including full-length solo shows!

I just hope she does continue to make music... she is truly an amazing songwriter, the world just isn't the same without her!

I agree! It's the best of the old & the new! When she said a year or so ago that working with other artists/songwriters these past few years had made her a better songwriter, she wasn't kidding!

I'm really loving "Around" especially the lyrics, "These highway lights aren't giving me direction,"... Can't wait for her to release a new album. "Just Around The Eyes" is my second favorite Faith Hill song and Jade does it justice.

Hoping for a new album soon.. Or even just a small EP.

Here's my best shot at helping. I'm horrible at figuring out lyrics, so some of mine could be completely off! For the second verse,


From the first verse:

Still I stand with my back amongst the fallen (?) [I hear this line more clearly in the soundcheck video, but the lyrics sound different from those in the live performance!]

Trying to find shape/shade (?) to life [Shade makes more sense but I hear her say, "shape."]

I heard shade too, I think it's shade of life. The line about embers and ash make sense too, and I can hear that now you've written it down, as does the portrait unframed line. Good work!
