It's so dark, I'd still listen if they did use the piece, but it'd be a one time thing...this is embarrassing to admit but Jade's Lacrimosa creeps me out. I know, I'm a chicken.
It creeped me out at first, and, if I'm honest, still does to a certain extent. But I still really like it. I just won't listen to it in the middle of the night.
I do really get the R&B style from TNG. I don't mind it all that much, and could even see it becoming the sound of choice for Jamie's Sweetbox. Still, a few classical samples always make me happy.
I was listening to the CD again yesterday night, and to my suprise most of it has grown on me. I still don't like Rockstar, though. It's too much of a break from the rest of the album for me. The rest ranges from okay to great now. I'll probably listen to it alot more now.
I just realized today that I'm not super worried about the second ablum. After listening to Classified and then Jade, I realized the great difference in content and sound between the two. Jade was the ablum that established, I think, the unique sound that Sweetbox was after that. So, hopefully Jamie's second album will do the same, and establish her Sweetbox's sound.
You know, I don't think they could have found a better replacement for Jade then Jamie. Their voices sort of sound alike to me, and they can both sing. I guess it was American Idol's lost that they didn't let her try out because she was too young. She has alot of vocal talent.
Yes, Jesus coming and Carry on Camping, it must be the best Christmas ever.
