Jamie's last tweet:
"wrote a song with didrik thott today...great teamwork! you guys are gonna love it!"

What do you guys think? I looked up information about Thott; he seems like a cool writer/producer/uh occupation...
I'm excited for Jamie. ^_^
And I love how she always thinks of us fans. XD

Didrik wrote "Stolen" (if you remember that demo) and "Coming Home to You" :D So I'm excited to hear what they came up with and if it sounds similar to those songs.

So... this is somewhat annoying and good news at the same time.

They're obviously wanting to keep Sweetbox current in Korea which is great but it could mean that they're going to try to delay the second album until Summertime most likely.. Ohhhh well.

Not necessarily.Just cause there's a release in Korean doesn't mean that they will delay a release in Japan. Korea didn't get the album until nearly 6 months after Japan and, considering single choices are made by the record label, maybe they've felt that now is a good time to release that particular track. It's good to see Korea getting a second track but I don't think we should start jumping to conclusions that other things will be delayed because of it

From what I've seen, the song seems to be doing as good as We Can Work It Out. It is on the Top 100 pop charts for Bugs and Daum at fairly high numbers, reaching #4 on Daum at the moment ( http://i48.tinypic.com/153mg3n.jpg ).

It seems that since the second single is accepted as well in Korea, they've accepted Jamie as the new singer. :D

Also! Jamie mentioned on Twitter about being done with recording, so hopefully we'll get more news in the coming weeks. :)

:D That's great! I was just wondering to myself if they'll still sample classical music...I hope Jamie does another Q&A on the website soon..I'd like to ask her about her views on classical music. :P

^ I'd assume they will considering Sweetbox's past albums (of course not including After the Lights). If so it'll be interesting to see which pieces they'll use :)

On a slightly different note i'm kinda looking forward to this album more then TNG which i wasn't overly keen on.. just like i wasn't with Classified back in the old days.. then absolutely LOVED Jade which was more personal. Hopefully she'll show more of herself in this one and repeat this in that respect. :)

So sometime this summer, huh? That gives me something to think about! :D

At first, I kind of didn't like TNG, but it grew on me a bit after time. Maybe the next album will be the one that sort of explodes in my mind. I found some of the tracks to be great (We Can Work It Out and Blue Magic) and some of the others sounded more like filler (Rockstar). Hopefully, the next album will be more about having lot's on individual sounds. That's what made me like Sweetbox in the first place, no two songs really sound the same.

When I compare it to Classified, which while less personal then the others I liked a lot, I get a little worried though. Still, it could still go really well.

I guess I'll know in the summer. :D

I'm hoping as far as classical pieces, if they do a darker song they use Orff's O'Fortuna. I'm surprised Sweetbox hasn't use it yet...it could go really well if you slow it down into a ballad or use it in an upbeat song that can just lead to an electric guitar or something.

And I agree Padmelover. Of course I was excited about the first a lot, but I think this one is more intriguing already because we get it now - Jamie can definitely sing, but this album will hopefully show if she can do other styles.

I Youtube'd Orff's O'Fortuna, and goodness. =_= I really must not have any music imagination 'cos I can't imagine anything well good? (idk what word to use...-not- creepy? :D) if they were to use that piece. XD

It's so dark, I'd still listen if they did use the piece, but it'd be a one time thing...this is embarrassing to admit but Jade's Lacrimosa creeps me out. I know, I'm a chicken. :boo:

Hm speaking of Jamie and classical music; I hope she's a fan. She strikes me as a purely R&B or Hip Hop kinda girl.

I agree w/ ya, Jayme and Padmelover. I'm so psyched for the 2nd album from Jamie. Hm, I gotta admit though I really don't know what to expect or want from her. It's like with the different singers for sweetbox is a whole reset for the entire project.

Hm, idk where I'm going with this but I nevertheless as I'm sure we've all said a million times, I can't wait 'til Jamie's found her uh thing? xD

It creeped me out at first, and, if I'm honest, still does to a certain extent. But I still really like it. I just won't listen to it in the middle of the night. :hehe:

I do really get the R&B style from TNG. I don't mind it all that much, and could even see it becoming the sound of choice for Jamie's Sweetbox. Still, a few classical samples always make me happy.

I was listening to the CD again yesterday night, and to my suprise most of it has grown on me. I still don't like Rockstar, though. It's too much of a break from the rest of the album for me. The rest ranges from okay to great now. I'll probably listen to it alot more now.

I just realized today that I'm not super worried about the second ablum. After listening to Classified and then Jade, I realized the great difference in content and sound between the two. Jade was the ablum that established, I think, the unique sound that Sweetbox was after that. So, hopefully Jamie's second album will do the same, and establish her Sweetbox's sound.

You know, I don't think they could have found a better replacement for Jade then Jamie. Their voices sort of sound alike to me, and they can both sing. I guess it was American Idol's lost that they didn't let her try out because she was too young. She has alot of vocal talent.

I strongly disagree with that ^^ There are many people who have better vocal abilities than both Jade and Jaime and to be honest when it comes to over-all presence Jade's character and image are imo more memorable than Jaime's, as she seems like a shadow to me  (I'm not trying to bash her, it's simply the opinion I formed).

I agree that they are people who can sing better than both of them. What I meant is that their voices are sort of the same type. I think they can both honestly sing, without Autotune and Reverb and all the typical studio "magic" that goes into most releases now days. I wasn't trying to say that they are the best vocalists ever, just that they both do have some talent.

As to the other, I don't think we've really got to see Jamie's personality yet. I strongly suspect that it's being kept under wraps by the "corporates". I wasn't a fan way back then, but was Jade really all that kicky when Classified was released?

^ Jade was pretty young when Classified was recorded and some of the lyrics really reflect that, so I guess she was lol.
